The weather forecast for the day was unpredictable, a large Clevedon contingent drove through torrential rain, only to arrive to sunny skies in Teignmouth.

Clevedon entered 9 races, the course was triangular with three bouys to navigate round at the far end of the course, before turning back and heading to the finish line.

There was a large turn out for the regatta with up to 14 gigs racing in each event. As usual Clevedon competed with detemination and in many of the races produced some outstanding rowing, with all of our crews putting in really strong finishes.

Overall the day was a huge success with Clevedon finishing in third place overall, behind Torridge and Teign.

The highlight of the day was Ladies C finishing in first place, they approached the first bouy in fourth place, but with some excellent coxing around all the bouys they found themselves coming out of the turns in first place and great commitment and drive from the crew saw them leading all the way on the final leg to the finish line.

Other crews producing top three positions were Mens C, ladies Super Vets and Mixed.
